In the last HR round, as part of the pre-hiring process, they asked for all previous company documents, Aadhaar card, offer letters, etc. Then, they told me that their budget was low and could offer just a 20% hike, but I had an offer with a 50% hike.

If they had told me their budget at the beginning, I would have rejected the interview. They asked for personal documents without giving any hint of their budget.

As I had applied for an Android role, all basic questions were asked: Gradle build, Room, security, and coroutines. No deep-level questions were asked; only the top-level basic knowledge was tested.
