I went for a job interview at Deloitte's development arm that builds solutions for clients of their consulting business.
They deal with a steady flow of very varied problems, as you would expect for a consulting business.
The interview process was good and fast-paced: I spoke with developers, project managers, client account managers, and more developers.
They quizzed me on both technical details as well as big-picture items. This was great because the bigger-picture questions gave me a bit of a breather between the minutiae that were asked.
We did both paper-based algorithm questions as well as two actual coding exercises, where I had to transform some data structures and implement some methods on an interface.
There were a lot of questions about team orientation (I'm a senior developer), so we delved into this at length, a lot about project planning, sprint planning, etc.
Fun day, all in all!
