Interview happened on 12/3/16 at Chennai (Westin Hotel, Velachery) for Bangalore location. The interview was quite easy.
First round was technical. The lady who took the interview was calm and intelligent. She fired questions on all topics.
Threads, abstraction, interface, some Java programs, Exception, collection, HashMap, internal functionality. If I give a return statement, System.exit(0) in try-catch, what will happen? Comparator interface, programs from array and ArrayList, how to convert an array to an ArrayList. What is a Singleton? How to create a Singleton class? SessionFactory, IOC, types of Set collections (she meant implementation classes for the Set interface, ha ha ha), design patterns. Difference between throw and throws.
You must be very clear in core Java concepts and very confident in your answers.
I waited for 10 minutes, then got a call for the second round. It was quite normal, not many technical questions.
After that, I again waited for 10 minutes and got a call for the 3rd round, which was a U.S. accent English test. My fate: I didn't clear this round.
