A recruiter reached out asking for some availability for an initial 30-minute interview, which I responded to the same day but haven’t heard back. I followed up a couple of days later with more availabilities since I hadn’t heard back. Again, nothing!

Then, 10 days later, I received her email asking to confirm a scheduled interview for less than 24 hours, which I did confirm.

After waiting for her call (she was 20 minutes late for the 30-minute interview), she asked a couple of basic questions (tell me about yourself and your projects). I received a rejection email while I was on the phone.

She then said, "We are looking for someone with more years of experience," which was not mentioned in the job description. I applied for the position with my resume, which was a match according to the required qualifications for the position, where she could see my experience as well.

Having such an unprofessional and disrespectful recruiter is not good for the reputation of a company!
