Software Engineer Interview Experience - San Francisco, California
Process
I went through four rounds of interviews. The last one was with the managing partner, which also went well.
No response within a week from the last interview, so I followed up, but still no response. Gave it another week and sent a follow-up email to the recruiter again. I got a very generic response that my application is trending in a positive way and they will circle back.
A month went by, and I hadn't heard anything back, so I sent another follow-up email and was ghosted this time.
It's a waste of candidates' time if they can't even communicate if it's a rejection, also on the application dashboard it still says the application is in process.
