Initial telephone interview with two senior managers, followed by a face-to-face with the hiring manager and a project manager.
The telephone interview was lengthy (one hour) but friendly, open, and positive. It was mostly competency-based questions.
The face-to-face interview took place late in the day (4:30 PM) and was a big disappointment. The hiring manager looked far too young and inexperienced for her role, and she displayed little interest in my CV. I had the impression that she was going through the motions.
She kept repeating that she wanted someone who could be 'hands-on,' despite the job title being test manager. It was a total waste of my time.
Just the usual questions about recent work experience, etc.
