You can really learn a lot and progress your career here because it's a constant grind to get everything perfect for the client. It can not only improve your technical skills but also your interpersonal and communication skills, which definitely shouldn't be overlooked as they are crucial in any role, especially client-facing roles like Deloitte consulting.
Work-life balance isn't very good, as tight timelines usually require more hours than a typical 9-to-5 lifestyle. It can sometimes require weekends, especially when a deadline fast approaches. Meetings take up most of the time in the day, which results in more work after work hours.
Figure out more reasonable timelines and add greater buffer periods, as technical issues can arise at any moment and cause delays.
