Pros

Opportunities to learn a great deal in a short time, also diversifying your training in other fields/technologies.

You will be immediately involved in various projects and will be responsible for all phases of a project's lifecycle, from requirements gathering to release/maintenance.

It often happens that junior figures manage a project with no/little support from senior figures. This makes you very responsible, but the quality of the code/processes suffers.

Excellent as a first work experience.

You also learn how to interact with clients.

Cons

Unpaid overtime. Overtime is not imposed on you, but if you want to meet deadlines, it is essential.

Training is exclusively "on field". If you don't know how to do something, you learn it by watching it being done or by doing it yourself. There is no type of formal training.
