There are a lot of great things about Deloitte. When you are well aligned and things are humming, you never want to leave. It’s fantastic.
But when you are not well aligned due to the way the business is organized, or metrics, or otherwise, it is painful.
I am also surprised Deloitte doesn’t offer coaching as part of its benefits package to employees.
Create an internal coaching program. Your employees want it, and you have certified coaches who want to coach full-time. This is a no-brainer and would reap tremendous ROI for the investment of a few full-time coaches.
The interview was in three parts: behavioral, technical, and situational. It was not too difficult; there were basic questions and answers. In total, I was in the interview process for about a month, maybe.
First recruiter phone call to give and get details for the interview. First round is an assignment that has ML concepts in a Python notebook and creates presentation slides. Then 3 rounds, back-to-back, 30 minutes each: * Two Technical Knowledge +
The interview process was easier than most large companies I have interviewed for, as the questions were not very technical and more personality-based. For some people, that may be harder.
