A glass ceiling exists if you do not fit the firm's profile for PPMD (Partner/Principal/Managing Director). Client success and book of business matter, but unfortunately, not as much as how well you can sell yourself to panels of the established leadership.
Better coaching and mentorship to diversify leadership and PPMD talent.
