Only the hiring manager called, and the initial technical interview was conducted. Prior emails indicated that the questions I would be asked would be about processing JSON, which is relevant to the role. I was underprepared for the topic of the question to change at the last minute, without notice.
It seems the process may be fairly unorganized. However, receiving a review that I was underprepared for a question that was neither hinted at nor relevant to the role I was applying for was an unpleasant experience.
