Overall, not enough context was given during the interview to be successful. Their interview process, the last time I interviewed, was terrible, as it was an unfair take-home test. This goes to show their interview process is still super unpolished. There were restrictions on npm packages and frameworks I wasn't allowed to use, and I had to use low-level built-in packages I'd never used.
