I interviewed for an IT job. I had a talk with an HR recruiter, who was great. Then I had a voice interview over WebEx.
The IT supervisor kept saying things like, 'The person we'll hire for this role, he'll be...' Very clear from the start of the conversation there was zero chance of me getting a position there, despite me having more years of experience than was required (entry-level; I had 3 years of experience, some related).
As I am a woman in IT, it was unclear to me why they called me in the first place if the only type of candidate they were willing to consider was male.
