The company has revoked flexible work arrangements for Chicago-based employees. Promotions have been stopped. Instead, promotions are listed as new openings that an employee must post for. So much for rewarding outstanding work.
Why work for a company whose vacation policy, remote work policy, pay scale, promotion system, and bonus incentives are standard or subpar to other area companies? There are over 12 openings in my department that continue to go unfilled. More with less is the mantra here.
