I received an email from Disney's recruiter asking if I do 100% automation and what level of Java I know. First of all, if he looked at my resume, he would find this answer. Second, after I emailed him back saying I have intermediate Java skills, he replied, "Thanks for being honest, but we are looking for someone senior with at least 5 years of experience." Gee... why then did you post a job that states "good Java skill experience required"? Why wouldn't you post "advanced Java skill required"? Filling out the online application was a waste of time. If Disney is serious about hiring skilled technical professionals, it needs a better process for filtering candidates. Here's a helpful suggestion: ask some Java questions provided by the dev team that most Java programmers should know. Good luck!
