Process
I went through three rounds of interviews after an initial call with the recruiter. Each one discussed different aspects of the role I was applying for.
- The first was with the manager to get to know them and ask questions.
- The second was a technical interview with team members, which included a programming challenge.
- The third was with different people to evaluate technical skills, as well as personality and fit within the organization.
Overall, it was a good experience.
Questions
We went through a technical challenge, which was basically a LeetCode example.

Pros: Work/life balance was good, and they had a micro kitchen.
Cons: Pay and benefits were less competitive than elsewhere.
A lot of outsourcing.
The QA team was located in the Philippines, and it seemed that their team’s goals didn’t align with the product team’s goals.

Great company to go to work for, as long as you're the "Disney" type
Software Engineer • Former Employee
Celebration, Florida, United States

Pros: Great benefits and atmosphere. Very good environment for minorities. Great facilities to work in.
Cons: Ageism is alive and well at Disney. If you're over middle age, they are very happy to keep bringing you back year after year as a contractor (18-month contractor, 1 year off, then repeat), but only the younger contractors are offered to become permanent employees (cast members).
