Very difficult to convert from contract to FTE
Well compensated as a contractor. Would do it forever if I could.
They often dangle FTE conversion in front of your face as a way to get you to stay interested through the remainder of your contract. Then, it all falls through when your contract is over. You have to pray for an extension, which gets more and more difficult every time for some reason.
Indefinite rolling contracts for good performers.
Should not have to wait until the last day every time.
