Disney Interactive is a creative place. The ethic and culture that Disney tries to embody is contagious.
QA mobile management has no strategy to lead QA.
The whole department is led by fear and internal politics.
Internal policies are constantly reversed, which triggers anger and confusion from producers.
QA mobile management is more concerned about their own career advancement than the product.
Connections and internal politics dictate every decision made internally.
People that work hard but are not part of the management clan do not have any opportunity to move up and will conveniently be blamed when management needs a scapegoat.
QA mobile management is reactive to problems instead of being proactive and always reacts with negative decisions rather than constructive decisions.
Bullies will not always win. Enjoy it while it lasts.
The process didn't take too long. I was in the waiting room for about 5 minutes. I was walked into a meeting room and interviewed by one individual only, a QA Team Lead. We spoke for about 15 minutes, and that was the end of it.
It was a super generic interview. The main job requirement was the capability to refrain from eating lead paint chips. They were more concerned with explaining the job requirements and temporary nature than accurately gauging any skills or abilities.
The interview process is pretty standard. It includes: * A recruiter call * A technical interview * A final panel interview (three to four one-hour interviews) Everyone I spoke with was nice. However, some recruiters might ghost you.
