Cons

Little to no work. A lot of waiting around. Irrelevant work. Expected to be an intern after graduation (for a year with no benefits/sick time). Little chance of growth. Expected to ask for work or be told you should know what you are doing. Little intern events. Housing needs to be gutted; it's clear it has not been properly cleaned in years (filled with mold upon arrival).

Advice to Management

The internship program needs a lot of improvement in the technology space. Make sure the intern teams have something for them to work on. Make the interns feel a little more appreciated. I sat around and waited for work more than I had work to do. It was clear to me there is no growth as a Software Engineer as a Cast Member at Disney. I would need to be a contractor to get any work.
