I received a simple "pre-phone screen" coding challenge and completed it in less than an hour of receiving it. I sent back a response and follow-up before getting a rejection more than a month later. The rejection stated nothing more than "your score did not qualify." I responded by asking for clarification on what I was scored on and what I did wrong, as the code I submitted works in its entirety as per the challenge description. I also included statistical evidence of its correct performance.

I received a response stating they would forward my request to their engineers, and then I was ghosted.
