Pros: Good work/life balance.
Good products.
Cons: Products don't link so well together. Lots of unneeded projects never get utilized.

Pros: Ok payment.
Interesting projects to work on.
Possible to work flexible hours.
Cons: BS politics blocks each and every actionable solution presented, especially if there’s any element of automation in the mix. If AI enters the conversation, it’s even worse, since all mid-management is actually trying to show any sort of relevancy to their process. That makes the life of technical staff extremely difficult; we spend more time trying to find workarounds to do our jobs than actually positively contributing to the company’s growth.
