Great company, not so much on management
The company is one of the best I've had the chance to work at, especially for all the perks it brings.
They really work on the comfort of the working environment.
Few key points:
- Benefits: RSU, travels, events (which seem to disappear, not counting COVID)
- A lot of comfort coming from a company already well-established in the US. Great offices, and willing to put money into the hardware.
Salary never evolved.
Got micro-management.
Clearly no perspective of evolution, especially from France.
Unless you shake the right hands, you aren't considered much.
Management too self-centered.
Empowerment and recognition are non-existent.
Listen to your team.
Defend them, especially when you see they bring the effort to the company.
