Pros

Good benefits, work-life balance.

Before the pandemic and several rounds of layoffs, the company had developers and managers who actually cared about writing good code.

Cons

Management is horrible. Upper-level leaders are incompetent and tone-deaf when hearing feedback. If you are not in with the right people or know how to play the political game, there is little room for advancement. Promotions do not take into account your ability to write code but rather how well you can give presentations and write documentation.

Advice to Management

Be transparent with your employees, stop firing people without consulting their managers, and take feedback well. Diversity in skin color only is not a strength.
