BS politics blocks each and every actionable solution presented, especially if there’s any element of automation in the mix. If AI enters the conversation, it’s even worse, since all mid-management is actually trying to show any sort of relevancy to their process. That makes the life of technical staff extremely difficult; we spend more time trying to find workarounds to do our jobs than actually positively contributing to the company’s growth.
Hire some senior directors and VPs actually capable of prioritizing and making decisions. Otherwise, the company is basically paying them just to chat all day.
