I applied online for the Software Engineer Backend position recently. The recruiter got back to me the next day to schedule a phone call. After the call with HR, the technical phone screen was scheduled a week away. The interviewer was prompt.
The interview started with brief introductions, a quick dive into project work, then standard technical questions and a design question, in about a 75-minute interview.
I gave the best solution to the technical question, explained my projects, and answered the system design question very well. Overall, it was a very healthy conversation. However, I was surprised when I received a rejection with feedback the next day, and I do not know why!
