• Lots of interesting and challenging problems to solve, as DoorDash is not as established as other big tech players due to operating like a startup at heart.

• Amazing teammates who are super driven and helpful. Although sometimes people may seem overburdened with responsibilities, the vast majority of folks I worked with have a 'play to win' attitude. Instead of cowering in the face of difficult challenges, we tackled them head-on.

• Depending on the team, you should expect to learn a ton on the technical and business side. Unlike many corporate environments, DoorDash tracks both application and business metrics extensively, and they are open to every employee.

Depending on the team/org, work-life balance can range from terrible to decent.

When nearly half of your compensation is in RSUs, stock price definitely matters a bit, but to be fair, the entire tech sector was down during the 2022-23 recession.
