Site Reliability Engineer Interview Experience - Boston, Massachusetts

Process

I interviewed for DraftKings in June 2020. The interview went on for two weeks.

The first round was an online HackerRank coding test.

Upon finishing that, I was invited for a virtual onsite. I took a week to prepare for the virtual onsite.

The overall interview experience was good; I have no complaints there.

But after the interview, I had to follow up quite a few times in the coming weeks to get to know my result.

Questions

Since I interviewed for an entry-level SRE role, the questions were of medium difficulty. They focused more on system design, networking concepts, packet-level debugging in Linux, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Packer.
