I applied by sending my resume to Dropbox directly. I was contacted by the recruiter, which was super friendly. I was scheduled an on-site interview. Before that, they sent me documents on how to prepare for the interview and even invited me to an on-site workshop on coding interviews, which was great.
The entire process involved 4 on-site interviews in TA and a trip to San Francisco office for a full day of interviews, 4 of them tech interviews (all expenses paid).
The whole process took about 4 weeks but could have been shorter since my schedule was booked.
All technical interviews were on CoderPad/CodePen. Some were more algorithm problems, some were more frontend-oriented, and some were a mix of both.
All interviewers were super friendly and nice, always asking some questions about previous work I've done to make me feel comfortable.
One issue was that it was very difficult to go through a whole day of interviews in SF after a 20-hour flight and being jet-lagged. It's no excuse, but definitely doesn't bring the best out of you, though I did get an off day in SF, so I can't complain.
All and all, it was a positive experience. Dropbox seems like a good place to work, and the guys in the TA office are super friendly and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable.
