I came in for an onsite tech screen, something that Dropbox offers for people who are interviewing locally.
Two interviews back to back, both whiteboarding questions. The questions themselves were pretty standard, but the way I was treated in the interview was not.
First interviewer, a man from the infrastructure team, hardly spoke to me. He typed on his computer furiously while I was working on the problem. I tried to talk to him to explain my thought process and ask questions; he was curt and would sigh loudly while I was working. All in all, his demeanor was incredibly rude and made me feel like I was wasting his time by being there.
Second interview was fine; the interviewers were friendly and communicative.
