Process

A recruiter found me on LinkedIn and was always in touch throughout the process. She was very helpful and friendly.

I had two phone interviews, both conducted on CoderPad. Each interview began with a ten-minute discussion about a previous project, followed by an engineering interview. The interviewers were friendly and happy to answer my questions about Dropbox.

After passing the phone screens, I proceeded to an onsite interview. This consisted of three engineering interviews, one demo session showcasing upcoming Dropbox products, and an hour-long culture fit interview. During this final interview, a representative from my college answered my questions and took notes on our discussion.

All the engineering questions were either familiar from previous preparation or directly from "Cracking the Coding Interview."

Overall, everyone I interacted with was very friendly and helpful. The recruiter responded within two business days after the phone screens and took one week to provide the results of my onsite interview. Although I did not receive an offer, I was encouraged to reapply in a year, which I certainly will.
