The first two interviews were one-hour phone interviews using Coderpad.io. This was followed by a series of three one-hour interviews conducted over Google Hangouts video chat in a single day.
All the interviewers were engineers from Dropbox, and my experience with every one of them was nothing short of incredible. Every engineer was very friendly and cooperative, answered questions honestly, and remained interested and involved the whole time. The questions asked were almost all real-life, in that I could see similar algorithms being implemented in products, which was refreshing.
Most of the follow-up times were consistent, and the recruiter made an effort to keep me in the loop the whole time. The recruiter was also very nice and pleasant to communicate with, both verbally and over email.
I prefer not to disclose the technical questions, but they did ask about my previous work experience/projects and dove into details they were interested in. They also asked what I liked about my school, as well as a bunch of other conversational things.
