Dropbox values each employee highly, and it shows. The extremely high bar allows them to treat each employee better than normal with high compensation, amazing benefits, high trust/autonomy, and exceptional WLB.
It feels like the business' future growth is uncertain on a long time horizon. This is a worry at the company, and people grumble about it a lot.
Seems like the company is aware of the worry about their long horizon, and they're doing what they can to fix it. I think they should push even harder on the experimental new products and features.
