The recruiting company, along with DRW's team, treated me as another number, not a person. I pulled myself out of the interview process after successfully passing their 5-hour take-home test. Read below for more information.
Phone screen with recruiters. All was well. I showed interest to pursue. Over a month went by without any word from DRW or the recruiter I was working with. Oh well, I moved on.
A month later, I heard back. I had to recheck who DRW was, as I forgot about them. Then I did a phone screen with 2 employees. It went well; I passed.
Several days later, I was assigned a 5-hour take-home assessment. I solved it using Java. I did a great job and turned it in. Two weeks passed until I heard back that I had passed.
Setting up scheduling for the interview day. Both recruiters were unorganized, unprofessional, and clearly lacked reading comprehension. I sent them my schedule two different times. They proceeded to set up a last-minute interview right after a 3-day holiday, the day before, then blew up my phone with texts and calls attempting to get me to take it the late afternoon and evening before the day. I have a job and responsibilities. I do not operate on your schedule and lack of organization.
I pulled myself out of the process and wrote an in-depth email to both DRW and the recruiters, explaining my experience and how I won't be doing business with either of them.
DRW was kind enough to respond and apologize, but honestly, the damage was done. I expect a company of that caliber to treat people better. Bullet dodged.
Recruiter responded a week later. They blamed it all on DRW. Pretty sure it was on both of them to various degrees. I won't be working with that firm again.
