The worst and strangest experience I ever had was before. I went through HR screening, cultural, and technical interviews, providing all my data to HR. After passing all of them and accepting the offer, HR called me on my mobile, saying they wouldn't continue because they found that a work permit takes up to six months (which isn't true).
They even didn't send any emails ending the process, which isn't professional and looks like a scam!
This was a big waste of time.
