I applied in June for a role in Amsterdam. The process took about one month.
There was a round with the hiring manager.
Then, a one-hour technical screening, which included a bit of theory and a bit of coding. Nothing was overcomplicated.
The second screening was more about fit into the project.
After that, a final coding round was scheduled. In fact, there were two meetings: two and a half hours, then a one-hour break, and another thirty minutes.
I expected some LeetCode, some design, but they gave me a take-home style assignment, which I had to finish before the next call. I asked some questions, then the interviewer dropped off.
It wasn't complicated but rather large for such an amount of time. There was a vague part where a candidate is supposed to come up with something creative, but again, too little time for the task.
I had to present my code on the next call.
And their recruiter ghosted me. I pinged him after ten days and got "we expected more" and that was it.
LC easy-medium, a follow-up: Do the same but without extra memory.
Take-home assignment in live coding mode.
