Started with a phone interview. Asked some basic programming questions.
Had two F2F rounds. Both interviews were easy. Here are some of the questions:
- Do you know shell commands? (Stupid question!)
- What are Java exceptions?
- What design patterns did you use?
- What open source tools did you use?
- Reverse a string.
I thought eBay (Bangalore) had higher standards for interviews. The interviews were not structured at all. I guess they have inexperienced people on board. I did not pursue the job after two F2F interviews.
