Process

I had two phone interviews. Most of the questions focused on performance and site speed. I was asked to write code in Collabedit.

Following that, I had another five rounds of on-site interviews, all of which were technical. An offer was made a day after the on-site interview. The entire process was exceptionally fast.

Questions

Nothing difficult or unexpected. Just algorithms. If you know the basics right, it won't be an issue.

Pros: Ebay as a company is great, with a great vision. Higher-level management is awesome.

Cons: There is a lot of politics, especially in the checkout team. Managers at a low level are cheap and have no good technical knowledge. Expectations are very high. There is no work-life balance.
