Process

It was nice. They included a few HackerRank hard questions.

I was contacted about their decision in about two weeks.

The interview process was shorter than most companies, but I felt the coding questions were nicely selected.

Questions

This coding question was at the level of a LeetCode Medium. They allowed language selection, which made it easier.

eBay Work Experiences

Excellent place to work

Cons: -Just six months old in eBay, so yet to see any downside.

It was great; some of the management lets everything down

Software Engineer • Former Employee

London, England, United Kingdom

Pros: Great people, wonderful atmosphere, and fantastic benefits in London.

Cons: Poor management, sometimes condescending, who believe they know better than engineers "on the floor". This "features over quality, do what I say" attitude seems to have pervaded into what was once a dynamic, agile eBay subculture in London. Unfortunately, this attitude will not improve anything; legacy code needs time and care. Despite the company touting that we should "deliver with impact", if you step out of line with delivery timelines or feature stack, you will be penalized for doing so.
