I received a referral interview from a friend.
I had a phone interview, which was very tough and included a lot of Java questions. There wasn't any response after that. I waited for almost 10 days and then emailed the person who interviewed me about a response.
Within a few minutes, I received a response from HR to schedule an onsite interview. I met with five people at the eBay office. The interview went positively, and the team was excellent.
Even before I reached home, I got an email from HR stating the interview was positive and they would call me on the following weekday. There wasn't any call at all.
Then, a third-party company emailed me to fill out an application for a background check. I filled in the application and sent them some documents they requested. They told me my report would be sent in another 3-4 business days.
I waited for almost two weeks and emailed HR for an update. They told me there were some kind of internal issues going on and they would get back to me the following week. This happened three weeks ago, and I haven't received any updates. I also emailed them last week for updates, but there was no response.
So, I am going to accept an offer from another company. Goodbye, eBay!
