I received a call from a recruiter in the San Jose office, and they handled it in an unprofessional and condescending manner.

I felt very bad after speaking with this recruiter. Their tone and response over the phone lacked respect for my work and my current company's profile.

I may or may not be a match for the role, but that does not warrant condescension.

I am proud of my accomplishments. Whether eBay's tech stack is different or overly complicated, as stated on the call, is secondary to respecting an engineer's fundamental skills.
