Process

The process involved one coding assessment followed by an interview.

The assessment was not particularly difficult, but the interview proved to be tough.

I had asked the recruiter in advance whether the interview would focus on technical skills or cultural fit, but I did not receive an answer.

During the interview, they initially asked some basic questions, followed by 30 minutes of web development theory.

I did not feel that they assessed cultural fit.

About the basics of web development: what is data structure, database, test, etc.

Pros: Managers are generally very approachable. Great teamwork. Managers even code a lot; they can directly help people to grow a lot. They encourage innovations and open-source adoptions. Really large-scale and challenging and interesting problems and projects.

Cons: Some teams are pretty busy. Goals are very aggressive. Work-life balance is OK. Some projects should use simpler solutions. Employee levels are not bad, but there's a really big gap compared to Facebook/Google.

Partition Equal Subset Sum

Determine if a given array of numbers can be divided into two subsets with equal sums. Essentially, can you split the array so both sides add up to the same value?

Dynamic Programming

Remove One Element to Make the Array Strictly Increasing

Determine if removing a single element from an array can make the remaining elements strictly increasing. You need to check if it's possible to obtain a strictly increasing sequence by deleting at most one element.

LRU Cache

Design a data structure that acts as a Least Recently Used (LRU) cache. Implement methods to get and put key-value pairs, evicting the least recently used entry when the cache is full.
