Good Pay, Messy Tech
There’s a lot of opportunity to make good money here. You have the ability to work in eBay offices in other countries, though it comes with a pay cut unless you are moving to the US.
This company is a bit of a mess. Their tech is old and poorly maintained. Their architecture in every area I’ve worked in has been a complete disaster. They try things, go through an org change, and drop all those things on the floor and start another thing. This happens over and over, which is largely why it’s such a mess. And no, not all tech companies are like this.
You don’t fail until you give up.
