Good co-workers, but the environment can be a grind
eBay is one of the largest internet sites, so you can learn a lot here.
I also found most of my co-workers are quite competent.
The work environment can be a grind. People are packed in, and they're shoe-horning in even more. I think the only reason why they might tolerate you working at home is if you have leprosy.
Management flip-flops too often. The company needs technical leadership.
It seems like the place is run by a bunch of numbers-driven MBAs whose vision doesn't extend beyond yesterday's sales reports.
The marketing is TERRIBLE - TERRIBLE.
I can't imagine why we pay top dollar to marketers who actively degrade the eBay brand.
