I had 5 rounds of interviews: recruiter, hiring manager, team mates, tech lead, and VP of the department. The entire process took about 1.5 months.

Everyone was very friendly, and they tried to understand my experience level and see if I was a good fit. The technical interviews were not difficult. I did a code review and found problems in the code.

Everything went well during the process. I received great feedback from every single person I interviewed with. We even talked about the compensation package. The following week, I received an email stating they couldn't make an offer because they were looking for someone with a Systems Engineering background. A total time waste for everyone!
