I was referred by my former colleague, who had been working at Elastic for several months. Surprisingly, I received feedback quickly, in just a few hours. Before each step, they asked you to provide your availability. After that, the confirmation followed up the same or the next day.

Not too technical, I described my experience, also stressing my prior experience with data visualization (which was one of the critical requirements for the position) and Elastic products.
All the following steps vary based on the product/team you applied for. In my case, it was a team lead, then a tech interview with two senior engineers, and the final one with the VP of Engineering.
What I enjoyed during the whole application process is the follow-ups with a recruiter after each step and insightful advice for preparing for the further steps. As you are aware, the interviewing process is quite stressful, and such an attitude gives you a good feeling about the kind of people who work at this company.
