This is all subjective and is based on my own unique situation/experience.
Again, this is mostly based on my own personal experience and is a reflection of management/lead, not the company as a whole.
Management: Please abide by your own imposed "blameless" culture. I had a manager who always blamed missed feature deadlines on me personally. It didn't matter how many other things you did or how many "overtime" hours you worked; your performance/value is heavily affected by how many features you ship.
For the most part, my achievements/strengths went unnoticed, and my mistakes/weaknesses were always confronted "loudly."
Very thoughtful and courteous. I appreciated the “someone like me” program. It made me feel supported even during the early interview phase. Follow-ups were timely and from a real person versus an automated system.
The interview process started with a typical HR/corporate recruiter screening. From there, the process was broken out into 6 interviews: the first three with technical staff and the last three with management. All interviews were conducted over Zoom
Wonderful, professional, and the follow-up was incredible. From the initial phone screen to the actual interviews, it was handled professionally and expeditiously. There was even post-interview follow-up to make sure everything was handled correctly.
