Good compensation and benefits. There are some very good engineers there.
Terrible managers without proper experience and "formation" in that role and with no emotional intelligence trying to run their team with fear. Don't try to voice your opinion, or they'll try to kick you out in the most dishonest and slimy way.
Dodgy handling of moving between countries. Compensation is location-based (nothing strange per se), but in too many cases, colleagues complained that they tried to lower their salary when moving back to the original place they moved from.
Career-wise, there's no opportunity to grow, and the tech is quite boring.
It's very difficult to move between teams.
Plenty of engineers are quite frustrated with their daily jobs and stick to it for 4 years in order to collect all of their stock options.
Last but not least: HR. This would require an entire chapter, but I'll leave it at "it's a big joke."
If you're a software engineer with a minimum of ambition, look somewhere else. There are plenty of better jobs out there!
