Pros

It has great perks (free and/or cheap games, cool merchandise, relocation stipends) and you have flexibility with your hours.

For co-op students, EA has several "fun" events that you can attend with other co-op students if you are into that sort of thing. I'm personally not, but to each their own.

From my experience, they appreciate it when you have an opinion and speak up when you think there are better ways to move forward.

Cons

I found at times that my work could get a bit repetitive and not particularly challenging, but that may depend on the exact team that you are working for. This wasn't limited to just me as a co-op student, but most of my team, as it was just the nature of what we were working on while I was there.
