Non-formal work culture. Annual shutdown at year-end. Brand name is good. Restricted stocks given at the time of joining.
Layoffs throughout the year with little to no job security. Less or no useful work, but full of politics and expert bootlickers. Not a place for engineers or technical people, as the work done in Hyderabad is either mobile game testing or load testing some servers, and is of no use outside. The worst management and managers at all levels, starting at senior and junior test managers. A team is made up of people hired by managers from their previous organizations, some expert bootlickers, talebearers, and the rest who keep trying but fail to clear other job interviews. Most of the technical people and engineers quit in a short time or abscond because of politics, the work, and finding incompetent people leading them or ordering them. And yes, a pro-North Indian company with policies of work from home or flexible timing being offered to them or managers' pets, but for others, it is against the policies.
Instead of hiring and firing people for a couple of months, it's better to find contractors or contract out the work to service companies.
People do not leave because of money but because of managers. One complete mis-hire of a senior manager leads to the hiring of friends of the mis-hire, resulting in an exodus of others due to the noise and politics created by them. The hiring of managers and people should be checked.
360-degree feedback is important and is not just one more policy. No actions are taken on the feedback.
A very inhuman place with inhuman managers. However, being human and some good words are mentioned as main values of EA. LOL.
Had an interview with 4 different rounds. First round was HR. Then a tech round with the managers, and then 2 panel rounds. It was a bitter ending; I did not get an offer.
Starting with a phone screening with HR, followed by an interview with the technical director. Then a technical interview with team members and a behavioral interview with a producer and a project manager.
A first screening with the recruiter to talk about the position. An interview with the software engineering lead, and then three more rounds of interviews. One of them was "culture add" and then two technical interviews, which were pretty similar.
