After two rounds of phone interviews, I took a plane to SF for an onsite interview at EA Maxis headquarters. There were three rounds. The first round involved two young engineers asking resume questions and then some geometry problem-solving. After

EA values technical skills, but they believe adaptability is more important. They would prefer to hire an engineer with potential and good social skills, rather than a top programmer with a cocky attitude.
